My boyfriend and I are dressing up as the little mermaid and ursula, well its very easy to find the little mermaid costume but I cant figure out how to make mine... i'd love to buy one already made, but the only one i've seen is on ebay and its hideous!!! help me please!!!
To me it looks like a black, strapless evening dress with tentacles at the bottom. If you can get the dress, you might be able to sew, staple, or tape some wide black ribbon or fabric strips. If you want to go from there, you might be able to get some music wire to hold them out so they don' just trail behind you.
Maybe blue body paint and a white wig.

Yeah, get an oversized black strapless dress so you can stuff it to be fat like Urs.
Use the ribbons and wires from the 1st answerer’s idea and get a Don King wig for the hair.
